ugh what a week so far! Yesterday I was in the computer lab at school and I just thought I'd check the flights I'd booked with NWA and so I log on and it says I'm flying to Vancouver September 10th i.e. two days away. I definitely said October 10th when I made my reservation anyways so I FLIP OUT and scream and call them up and long story short

I love you and your posts, I always go 'wow' you make even the most mundane stuff seem like an adventure, I am dying to see DR through your eyes, by the way.

They pop because of the way we are raised in the Dominican Republic, Yamil & I are pariahs because of what we are doing and although I understand that it isn't a race and there is no rush, we get asked, at least ONCE a week '¿cuándo uds. van a dejar la carajitería & ser adultos, casarse, comenzar una familia y comprar una casa?' so even though I brush them off, they come and hunt me and I feel like I am being selfish and inconsiderate by 'just enjoying the now' (it isn't even about maturity, but more of 'Dios, esto afecta a mi mamá & hermana', such a fucked-up system.
