arrrrrrrrgh, my mp3 player just fell into a cup of water. How does that even happen? No-one was next to to it... It just fell from a flat surface into a cup next to it... gragh.

I didn't put the cup there but I can hardly blame the person who did. Twat.

Turn it off, remove anything removable, especially batteries, dry it as much as possible and then leave it in the airing cupboard for twenty-four hours. It may survive.
