I still keep half looking 'round for Theo several times a day. Especially when there is food I think he'd have liked (he'd have been interested in the bread pudding I suspect, given how into Bisquick biscuits and things like that he was. Odd old cat :-) :-(

One of the things I had quite a bit of in the freezer that I've been having to use up is various loaves of bread I bought as day-old / going past date mark downs. (It's a great cheap way to have stale bread for breadcrumbs to use in (vegetarian un-)stuffing and the like ( Read more... )

Theo's ashes have come back. Theo's sleeping cat carving 'urn' is varnished a much darker shade than Kekh's, which befits the earthly remains of a black cat quite well I think. He has a scent of fresh varnish, which makes me wonder if the people at the cremation service actually darkened the wood specifically to suit the fact they were interring a ( Read more... )
