Ok, so things have been pretty hectic lately. My german shepherd, Atlas, has taken to running off to my in-laws house up the road, and even following them to the main road (we live on a little back road). Have you considered the underground fencing? that might help keep your boy at home. http://www.radiofence.com/dog_fence_sport_dog.htm

and there is this one http://www.radiofence.com/instant_fence.htm if CS is too lazy to burry the wire. I am sure you can find other sites with thses cheaper I put them here just as examples of what i was talking about.
