You had no way of knowing that something would go wrong, so don't beat yourself up over it. Just do what you can, try to get rid of those plants, and remember everything in case a next time rolls around.

I'm printing out a ton of photos and everything my dad-in-law found on a Texas university site, they classified all the toxic plants and arranged them by livestock, symptom and region, so I'm printing those out to make a binder.

You might want to make a few coppies so that you always have a back up just in case something happens to the orriginals and to loan to other friends that you have that also have livestock. Just an adea.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your goats. It always hurts fo lose one. And can hurt worse the the loss of a family member. I know this.
Sometimes, you do everything the right way and still lose them.
Ask Darkhorse when we had to put down Magic Man. My sweet torbinio mini stallion. He was a special little fellow, But an accident hurt him so badly that there was nothing to do.
Lost my 28 year old Tennessee Walker to cancer, and that I could handle. Lost my world class Arabian to west NIle and a vet who did not care and that nearly destroyed meCould not speak for a week and I am supposed to be the iron man. Nothing bothers me. Gods it still hurts
I have arranged things that DK will not have much trouble when I go, in keeping this little farm going and my fiends here and happy.
OH yes, DK would gladly give you Penny and Circe. They are big boer< lamacha coss goats
