SPN is going to have random gore, so prepare yourself. ;-) Also, don't take it too seriously. The myths have been known to be flawed, but overall it is a BLAST and I adore it. :D
Yeah just watched the episode with the shapeshifter thing...random pulling its skin off to ooze into yellow goo...lovely.
And i'm not so bothered by flawed myths...see the thing about them being myths is that they are very open to interpretation. Although there are some retellings in popular culture I have a hard time getting my head around, like Merlin being younger than Arthur for example! ;)
I've guessed its not a show to take too seriously, but it does seem quite the enjoyable romp adventure. It's making good background entertainment mixed between Deep Space Nine :)
Still on Skin...I'm avoiding watching it in the evenings when I get home from work, mainly due to gore...yes I'm that pathetic that it really is a watch in daylight show! Silly work shifts keep getting in the way of watching.
