Most likely I'd shoot myself. An eternity of being unable to get any happier, of having nothing more to look forward to, of having nothing to aspire to, to strive for? Hell! Not heaven.

What if you were locked away in eternity with the girl of your dreams though? So you couldn't get old and ill, forever able to live in the moment of being healthy and able to jump around without snapping an ankle?

I can get the 'nothing to aspire or strive for' though. Being unable to write anything new would drive me crazy.

It's interesting to see different opinions and answers to these questions though, lol

I have the girl of my dreams already but if you truly try to picture eternity you might realise what a terrifyting prospect that is. Locked away with the same person forever, no matter how great they are, when millenia pass like minutes love will turn to hate in the blink of eye. Perhaps and hopefully it would turn back just as quickly but before one had killed the other, maybe not. Leaving the remaining partner with eternity to remorse over the murder of their true love. Like I said, Eternity could be Hell!

As a hopeless romantic, I'll agree with you when you say 'Eternity could be Hell!' ^^ You never really know WHAT could happen.

Besides, the question is: 'What if everything lasted for eternity and you couldn't be happier?' As in, WHAT IF, everything lasted for eternity, and you couldn't be happier with that fact? Really, the answer is already there, the fact is that you ARE happy with everything lasting for eternity. What the question is asking, is that with that split second decision, are you going to make the right one which will keep you happy for eternity ^^
