You loved Dune, Ender's Game, Ringworld, and Hitchhiker's Guide without having read them?

Dune is my favorite book of all time, so I certainly recommend that. Hitchhiker's Guide is also certainly enjoyable. Ender's Game is the most overrated book I've ever read, but its sequel, Speaker for the Dead, is pretty mindblowing--its second sequel, Xenocide, is pretty much a waste of time that equates Mormonism with science and Taoism with OCD.

i thought ender's game worked a lot better in it's original shorter format before he padded it out to a book.

i've only read 26 of 'em. most are pretty good in different ways
couldn't make it through lord of the rings or thomas covenant. and wished i hadn't bothered with rendevous with rama.
lord of light at 32 is frequently my favoritest book. the prose borders on poetry
