It's not about what I deserve. I never ask myself what I deserve. there are better, kinder more virtuous people than me living in tin huts with bad water and only a cup of millet to eat every day. It's about what I will and should/nt tolerate.
I want a partner. Someone who's up for adventure, will support my goals, as I support his. I don't want someone telling me what to do if he doesn't know what he's doing. We both bring our own stuff to the table. Some of its good and some of it needs to be dealt with or adapted to. There's mutual respect, consideration, and willingness to help each other, or admit when something isn't worth our time. We are different, and that diversity is a strength. We adapt as best we can to accomodate. We are an a-frame sharing the snowy burdens of life, and should not expect something out of our partners that we can't achieve in ourselves.
