Well now, I didn't mean to start anything, but since we're here... Do we get clues? For example, I would ask if you know who I am--'cause if we've never even met then this isn't going to get very far.

Yes. Requests For Clues (RFCs) will be replied to with either an affirmative (in this case, yes, you do in fact know me,) a negative (the obvious opposite) or Buh? (if I have no clue what you're talking about.)
