Hey, there, lady! I can't wait to hear about your adventures! It sounds like it's been an exciting time. PLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE tell me you've saved money to go to LA this summer! I think I'm going :-) It would be fun to have a friend there!

Hi! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I have been INSANE. (Okay, worse than usual...) At this point, I hate to say, LA is not looking good for my budget. Plus, I've been away the last three out of five weeks...not a good time to talk to M about that! ;-) I would LOVE to go with you, though. I know we'll get there together sometime, if not this summer...soon. I went in 2000, by the way, and it was wonderful. Hope you're doing well. I'm looking forward to catching up with your journal.

Haha! That sounds like me in my early twenties at a big insurance firm. I wrote a lot of short stories, spent a lot of time on the phone and took very long breaks for lunch and otherwise. Bad, bad, bad!

sounds like a dream job! I know lots of people who are able to write on the job, the luckies, but they usually use that time to write something besides: "I'm getting out of work. I'm bored at work. I don't want to work." Ha!
