Hi kelcrocker,
This is Hannah from NYC (Hamline student)--you gave me lots of great advice on freelancing books to read at the residency. And now I found you on LJ. Cool. Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions, I hope you don't mind if I friend you!

So great to hear from you! And to "see" you on LJ. OF COURSE friend me. And I hope it's cool with you if I do, too. I'm not good at being consistent with LJ...I love the kid lit community, and that's why I'm here, but I'm not good about keeping up with journals (mine or others). I hope to get better. How is your semester going? I hope you're having a great time!

I am having a great semester so far--challenging but great. :)

I know what you mean about keeping up with journals--I go in spurts too.

I hope your writing is going well too. You had such strong scenes at the reading. Wishing good things for you!

Stay warm!

First of all, see my latest post. I'm SPEWING! Look what you triggered! :-) Now, that's a good journal entry!

I'm glad you're having a great semester. I had to take some time away from my fiction to work on for-pay stuff. (You know how that is.) But now I'm back into it. Thanks, re: the reading and the good wishes. I'll take all the help I can get! And right back atya!
