Sadly, I'm not even that far. It's just one of the missions in... I don't even remember the name. The forest place where they make out in the first game. It's the stupid monsters with the "distortion waves" that keep killing me off. I know there's go to be a way to survive, because I survived them once, but ten seconds later I got into and identical battle and died. SO frustrating. When you are in town (assuming this is Tim?) I might make you beat them for me, since you'll be here in like, two days.

I'll be in town Saturday night. So I'm free any day until Wednesday, minus one day for a private orientation from my sister + ONEcard obtaining.

Oh, ONEcard. How useful you are. I'll have to see about freeing up an evening or something, though I don't know if that'll actually happen. Maybe it'll have to wait until after school starts.

Whee, we tired each other out! I was very sleepy by the end of that day as well.

I'm reasonably sure you'll be able to find your boots in mid-September. There always seem to be a few pairs like that around. But huzzah for cute vests!

Gah! You need to know when to step away from the playstation. You're just as bad as I used to be.

As for the FFX/FFX-2 talk, it's not weird for them to be refering to Tidus as 'him' or 'you' because he was never refered to as Tidus in FFX. In FFX you're given the option to change Tidus' name so they couldn't record any dialogue using his name and worked the script around that. So FFX-2 is just continuing with that.

I will probably be in town to visit in a couple weeks so I can catch the fashion show and such. I'm just waiting on the final confirmation from my supervisor. I should know for sure soon.

Oh! I need to call them about the fashion show! I wonder if I've missed the date already. Eeeh... I'll have to do that tomorrow, if I remember. Did you end up deciding on leaving in the middle of the week?

I believe the fashion show is on the 11th. You should call them to confirm. Also, the anonymous poster isn't me (remember, I never played FFX-2).

I'm not sure if they'll be what you want, but try Town Shoes (in West Ed, or Kingsway). I was there in November with a girlfriend (admittedly, in downtown Toronto) who was looking for 'knee-high, black, stilleto heel, leather boots.' She got shown to a wall of choices.

Yeah, I was in the on in West Ed, they didn't have as many choices as I would have wanted. I'm thinking September will be a better time to check again, just because it'll be officially fall weather, whether it's officially autumn or not. But I'll keep them in mind, definitely.
