Nope, not sinister in the least (well...) but I do use it more than other right-handed people seem to. Probably has something to do with the nuns in Rome when I was in first grade and Sister went up and down the aisle with that three-foot wooden rod of hers, smacking you on the hand for whatever rule you unknowingly violated.

For the first grade, yes. I was born in Germany. (My father was a USAF officer in Europe during the Berlin Crisis.)
