It is (as usual) a crappy time to be a Christian. I don't mean that things are particularly worse today than they were yesterday, or the month or year before, but that the constant struggle that seems to be business as usual is making me alternately want to pick up my pen to write or take off my glasses to cry. I think it is the project he's on being in crunch, and I think too that I need at least a certain amount of consistency - like, we need to set a date every week, or have set times we see each other. Problem is, his job isn't really all that conducive to such.

And, sad to say it, I've just been a big grumpy too. (And, I also am very fond of having a clean house, and he's a little too messy sometimes - some of this is just the whole learning to live together thing.)

I agree with you on trying to show compassion and leaving the judging up to God.

The setting aside time to see each other/ hang out seems like a good idea. At least, I would feel that way in that position. Fortunately, Matt and I usually have predicable schedules so thats helpful.
