I'm afraid that things are going to be a toxic mess come Cataclysm, simply because many people won't have the skill sets and patience required to successfully complete these new dungeons. Everything is about to radically change except the player base, and it's been an awfully long time since CC and honestly, thought, were needed to finish a dungeon.

People are going to be so worried about their DPS numbers that they won't bother to keep their assigned CC target sheeped/frogged/trapped/what-have-youed, and that's simply not going to work.

We're all going to learn the game again, and I have to wonder if many people will find this brave new world as enjoyable as the world of "Look at those crits!!!!!!111111one"

I'm sorry you had a crappy run. 8-( *hugs*

Ah crappy run or not it got done and -I- didn't die (death strike to victory). I'll admit people like Astar and I (especially Astar) do some crazy stuff sometimes. But there is some virtue in soloing things like that. It teaches you patience and looking at how to pull some things and how to accomplish things without must muscling through it ( ... )
