I was hoping you would venture into Venice territory! I hope in season 2 of Venice that we get to see some history of Gina and Ani's relationship. That scene on the bench was so beautiful and poignant. I am pulling for them to get back together, but in the meantime, Lara certainly isn't a bad distraction! I think you really get these two. I don't think it lends itself to my usual epic form, but a one-shot at the close of each season is certainly a possibility.

Me too. I would like to know what exactly happened. I suspect we're going to meet the infamous Logan fairly soon as well.

I really like Ani and Lara together - this could be quite the interesting triangle. And I agree, that scene on the beach was quite compelling. Like most people, I think ep 7 ranks as my favorite of the season. That chemistry is so magical.

I'm glad you enjoyed this little character study! it's easier to do something like this in written format - a lot of this information is there in the subtext in Venice, imo.
Ani's a character with great potential. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with her next year. And Gina is...well...an awesome mess. Gotta love that!
