Okay- if any of you have ever been refused birth control or emergency bc (aka morning after pill etc) PLEASE fill out this survey. I'm just trying to pass the word along ( Read more... )

God, that pisses me off! I learned in my health class the other day that insurance companies won't cover birth control for women, but they'll cover, GET THIS, viagra, cialis, and all of those other medications for men! Ugh!

Some insurance companies are starting to cover birth control now for that exact reason...that and because women were starting to sue their insurance companies because they werent covering it. If medicaide would cover it then all insurance companies would have to cover it as well....but that means that President Bush would have to do something proactive and not right wing!!

Amen! Thank you for letting me know that some do. I'm glad to know that--it's a small step, but hopefully one in the direction of FORWARD. :)

yeah. My insurance does not cover my birth control. and it pisses me off. but it's better than a baby so I deal. But still... where the hell do these people get off.
