One of the best gifts a girl (or guy maybe?) can receive it a mix tape. Well, I take that back... if I still had my Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme that still had a tape player in it, then a mix tape would be an awesome gift. Today it's a mix CD. I received such a gift from a friend recently

First off, great entry. Very reflective. I always question motive, and you bring up a clever point that in doing so, we degrade the purity of kindness that went into the gift itself.

And secondly, I was just skimming through the entries until I saw your picture and then I backed up and read it all the way through. I LAUGHED OUT LOUD when I came to your parenthetical remark... because I am the soldier to my own advice. :)
