After last night's incident, I have no choice but to move back home to Indiana.
This isn't happy news or sad news. It's simply reality. -

You know what? If your HR personnel can't be bothered to include an e-mail address with your job vacancy listing so I can send my cover letter and resume directly to a human being, then I can't be bothered to go to your website and spend 45 minutes filling out your convoluted screen application with the EXACT SAME INFORMATION that's on my resume.

Holy Hell!
I'm not even going to go into how much I adore this manmade Wonder of the World, but I am certainly sad to see and hear about all the devastation and hardship affecting, not only the settlement, but the people nearby. (Not the businesses, the people. The businesses can suck it.)

Procrastination is an art
I should be working on my massive to-do list, but since I only managed to fall asleep at 10:30 this morning, I've decided that my plans for today were decisively off-course. Don't ask. I have no idea why I couldn't fall asleep. Maybe it was an involuntary course correction due to sleeping more than usual on Tuesday evening after my interview. ( Read more... ) -
