That is very good news on it not being cancer.

While fungal infections are not as common as viral or bacterial, they can make you feel horrible. I'm hoping that they figure this out so your mom can start some sort of treatment to feel better soon.

I am so happy to hear this news. Such a bizarre thing. I hope they can confirm the diagnosis and start treatment ASAP. Fingers crossed you are close to a happy resolution!
