Influences in Sorcery 101

I have been asked numorous times by Sorcery 101 fans if I have read this or this. Pointign out similiarities in it and Sorcery 101. Sometimes, it's a comic and sometimes it's a real book. I'm like the inverse of that. I love reading so much that sometimes my drawing falls by the wayside. It kind of amazes me when I find out people haven't read as much as I have, which doesn't really make any sense. I love drawing just as much, but it takes so much more energy for me than reading does, so usually reading wins out.

When you mentioned the "sequential art" classes, I had a hunch as to where you were going to school. If there is even more than one school on the planet that even offers courses in sequential art, I'm not sure where it is... But, there is one I do know of :)

Have you ever thought of getting someone to look over your writing for the comics before you post them/draw them? The art is spectacular and the story is great but sometimes the mistakes in the writing are enough to ruin the entire day's comic. Some sites even offer benefits to the people who check over the work, as if they were donating cash instead of time. It would be a great idea and I think it would really benefit your comic, maybe post it on the front page one day?
