SO burned. SO stupid. I tried so very hard, but that darn big round pretty ball of orange that looks so close you can almost touch it as it falls behind the stripe of blue at the edge of the world got to me. I usually try to see things for what/how they are and to face reality on a daily basis. I've noticed that lately I've been avoiding a lot. I don't mean the big things, just certain little things. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, Dan's birthday, and a day without illness for me! Woohoo. We went to a birthday lunch on the lake with my parents, and even though I still couldn't order real food and certainly couldn't drink with them, I was happy to be out with everyone for his birthday.
