Regardless of circumstances, losing a parent is sad. Your day at the hospital sounds terrible *hugs*

I am glad your mom is adjusting. When my dad got diagnosed with prostate cancer 10 years ago, thinking about my mom being alone is what made me the most sad. I am sure your mom is so happy you are close by to spend this time with her.
