*laughs* Yeah, I wondered about the cup and lighter, half thought about photoshopping them out, but laziness and the colored version kinda worked with them, and then I stopped minding them. But I suppose that's me, I have been looking at them for awhile.
I'm glad you like! Two of us are also "eh" on smoking photos, so we were trying to counter against that too, or at least not make it feel so cliched. Hiding the nose ring wasn't intentional, and it's more prominent in other photos (took nearly 200 of them), just apparently not in these five.
Many thanks again for your comments =)
As for your straight male comment... haha, well, I'm just the messanger photographer, but I'm just fine~
Sepia does wonders to negate the horrible color cast your jury-rigged lighting would have produced.
Pass my complements on to the Angelhunter. Not only is she hot, she makes an excellent subject.
(and your diffuser isn't as ghetto as mine~ crumpled white paper bag from a fast-food joint and a rubber band. I'm not paying any price for an Omnibounce.)
Black and white was the original idea for this - I didn't completely desaturate them (because I like small hints of color) and the little bit of sepia was to just warm them up a touch. Either way, yes, it does wonders to "we're making this up as we go!" lighting rigs.
Ahh, my diffuse was a couple layers of paper towel taped to my flash. It was awesome. I know I actually do have a much more formal and professional one around, but for the life of me can't find it. Must be in a box somewhere when I've been moving a lot over these past three years.
I shall pass the compliments, absolutely, unless she reads them here first, heh. Many thanks!
