I got pink haaaaaaaaaaair. (Pics to come.) The best thing is, people think that I care about their opinion of my appearance, so I've had the following comments from complete strangers:

"What have ya done to your haaaair?"
"Nice color. You made the right choice."
"What color is your hair?" ["Pink" I say]. "Oh. I thought it was orange."

Who knew victory could be so thrilling? I clogged, and then furiously plunged, and ultimately unclogged, our kitchen sink yesterday. Those final gurgles triggered an elation I've never felt before. That's a dangerous, beautiful thing.

Question: why are milk crates so hard to clean? I mean, they are BOUND to stink, and there are all sorts of crevices for grody milk crust to hide. My hands smell like rotten milk, and I'm afraid that the crates aren't totally totally totally clean. OH WELL. At least I got free shelves.
