I feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster right now. in the last 48 hours, I've been extremely happy and extremely depressed many many times each. last night was really cool. definately needed. Dorm life is alright. the shower thing kind of weirds me out, because there's no where to hang a towel right outside of the shower. I haven't tried it yet, but it will most likely be weird for me. today I enjoyed lounging around my room for a few hours after waking up. well, I'm all moved in! it was a pretty long process, but not too bad. we got an awesome parking spot, so we didn't have to carry stuff too far. just up 4 flights of stairs. ugh. today is moving day!! I'm so excited, but sorta sad too. Julia's really sad that I'm leaving (even though I'm not going far) and my parents are sad too. Renee's been close to crying all week while I've been packing. and my dad kept hugging me every time he walked by me. I move in 2 days. I'm sooo excited! I never realized how much stuff I have until I started packing it all up and deciding what to take with me and what to leave behind (not to mention WHERE to leave it, since my sister is taking the room I'm in right now). my walls are entirely bare, and its quite saddening. it almost made me cry when I finished ( Read more... )

Life is busy. I got a few rebate checks in the mail today from buying my laptop. it makes me happy, because I feel like I have a lot more money now. and, I get paid on monday. I'm also picking up an extra shift on tuesday, so that should put me at overtime. LOTS of money then... HOORAY!! I'm kind of worried about tomorrow because I have to go to ( Read more... )

so, life is pretty good right now. making more money is nice, and will be even nicer when I get a really good paycheck on monday, but working full time is hard.
