Is it wrong to be so happy that my carpets are clean? Stanley Steamer came today and took 4 years of dust, rabbit funk, etc out of the carpets today. And, I got a new very cool vacuum to keep them up to shape. Consumer Reports verified. I'm not a neat freak...but I feel like I am starting down a dangerous - yet tidy - road

You can price them online pretty easily - www.stanleysteamer.com - and that is what they will charge you, unless you have a really odd shaped room or ask for a closet cleaned or something at the last minute. You can make an appointment online, too, which I liked. It is not the cheapest, but Consumer Reports likes them, and I hate using those rug machine rentals.

The guys that came out were pretty good. Great customer service - very friendly and knowledgeable, did not try to scam us. They also moved around all the furniture for us and worked their rears off. It is nice to watch other people clean your house ;o)
