Due to Bob's death and finals, I didn't realize right away that Josie was missing and it was Thursday when I started looking for her.  This morning I found out that our neighbor Mike found Josie's body on Tuesday afternoon. She had been killed by another animal. We are guessing it was the two stray dogs that have been seen in the complex off and on

I would call animal control about the dogs.

I'm very sorry - she was a great cat - I have always worried about her and her proclivity to stay out - after acquiring one of mine because she was mauled by a dog, I don't let mine out any more.

This has been an awful week for you - let me know if you need anything - even if it's just a hug.

It was the fear that I kept stuffed down in the back of my mind. She was a very determined little cat when she wanted something. Hugs are always good.

Oh no! I'm so very sorry. Miss Josie-Jo was a super affectionate cat who was well-loved (and spoiled as was right and proper). You have truly had the week from hell. Wish I could give you a big hug in person. Or a stiff shot. Or both.
