Where to live?

I have 2 options. And no particular preference as to which.

Option 1: A gorgeous self contained flat on Crookesmoor Road. Saw it, and fell in love with it. I *REALLY* like it.

Problem £80 a week.

Option 2: Living with a group of final years on Warick Street. Average size room. Big kitchen. Big lounge ( Read more... )

It depends on what the people you'd be sharing with are like. You sound like you really like the first place, so unless you feel you'd particularly like to live with the people in question, I'd go for the first. (Though if money's the issue then they only need to be bareable.)

I don't know them at all.... they seem nice enough, but I don't know them.

Money might be an issue... its a lot extra to find. But I really do like the first one....

If £75 is any more survivable than £80 pounds and you like the prospect of more space on your own...

I know of a nice attic room with its own kitchen, and shared bathroom+WC+showerroom cleaned by landlord, in a peaceful & quiet shared house on Spring Hill Road. Call the landlord Mike Sellars on 0114 2348704/07870 354833 to arrange a viewing :) it's lovely

That sounds like the place you were intending to live next year? Are you not, or am I just getting confused?

It is indeed the place I was going to live...but I'm not going to risk moving and ending up somewhere I don't like. Again.

It is a very nice place though. I'm just happy where I am now and would like to stay that way, lol

ah ok!

Glad you're happy where you are :)

I remember thinking when you told me about the place that I wish I'd found it! And that if you decided to move out at the end of the year then I'd ask you to put m in touch with your landlord for the year after!

I've rung and left a message, I might try again later tho. :)
