I do sometimes wish PETA could adopt more creative writers; after the fourth tear-jerking letter to the office about the cruelty of culling animals for wear and the evils of the fashion industry, it really becomes quite supererogatory to have to skim through the next three hundred.

Tell me about it. I wouldn't mind making some PETA skin bags. I think people would buy them.

Well, I'd be certain to order several for our creative design team; the poor dears have started taking their frustrations out on a dartboard with pictures of Ingrid Newkirk taped to it.

They are awfully bothersome.

I still receive regular correspondence in regards to the Oldboy octopus. I simply cannot fathom any understanding why anyone would go to such bother for a cephalopod.

How ridiculously zealous of them; have you considered having an assistant or secretary respond to the unwanted harrassment with the addresses of several East-Asian restaurants that cater to sannakji? And suggest they heckle them instead?

It worked wonders when we were harrassed over last year's winter line; we forwarded them to our competitors in Louis Vuitton.

I find anonymously delivered take-out platters to be far more decisive in articulating my response.

Ah. I might also suggest with a copy of "Mrs. Ohnishi's Whale Cuisine" come the yuletide.

Oh, Lord. Not PETA again, chere. It isn't as if I skinned the animals myself.
