Factor Conjecture Factor Strength Efficacy The compendiums allow efficient communication between tales, an economical alternative to the telephone, and less obnoxious alternative to Myspace. Redundant, but must also point out the unlikelihood of librarians possessing a scenester homepage themed with appropriately “indie” music that only six ( Read more... )

Heavens! It was more for my own reference than a general instruction to taledom; but certainly, I would advise to use the compendiums responsibly -- rather than as an alternative to pet-feces collection!

Splendid, certainly; work is in something of a lull at the moment, so I decided to crack this thing open for a change. Yourself?

Oh, very! I find it most efficient in organizing my thoughts on matters.

I imagine it would be rather rude not to, to be honest!

You should be made an honorary Wonderlander.

Oh, my! I am terribly flattered, Neil; but I suspect Wonderland already has a young child, too curious for its own good.

There can never be too many curious young children.

Besides, I think Kilroy and May have already adopted you.

You've forgotten a factor, I think.

Why is everyone always hating on indie music? There's some amazing stuff out there; it's not the musicians' fault that the recording industry's so screwed up that they can't get the same publicity as the big dollar acts.

I mean, if you haven't heard of the band, do some research. If you like it, listen to it. If you don't like it, don't. It's not that difficult.

Oh, no! I didn't mean to insult listeners to indie music; I simply find the act of only liking a band or musician for their obscurity to be rather pretentious. One should like music because they like it, not to seem superior to others.

Okay, yeah I find that pretentious too, though it kind of happens in every scene. Sorry for jumping to conclusions; I work in a music store so it gets really old hearing people complain about it over and over again.

It's no problem, I understand completely; what sort of music do you enjoy listening to?

Fabulous. You can do my obligatory Compendium check-ins for me. Do inform me if there's some particular rampant idiocy, darlin? You know how I could use a good laugh.

I'll be sure to photocopy certain entries and have them on your desk post any Donatella phone calls or visits.
