HELP.

I know I have a bunch of teachers and English majors and writers and all sorts friended here, and I need to ask all of you a huge favour. I'm going a bit insane here, and I can't for the life of me come up with two good activities for teaching the past perfect continuous tense (subject + had + been + verb(ing)). I don't know what to call this except for describing it as an "interrupting activity." Ex: have several kids act out an activity, such as reading together, playing catch, etc. A few minutes into the activity, someone comes by and does something that interrupts them. If they are playing catch, one child's job could be to run through their game and steal the ball. Therefore: The children had been playing catch until So-and-so stole their ball.

Something like that where they could act the things out?
