Our friend Sarah

I just heard from a friend of hers that Sarah Schoch passed away this morning.  I'm too sad to really say anything constructive except that I know that she will be missed by all the people who loved her.  She was a sweet, wonderful, brave girl.

I am so sorry to hear this . . . it's really sad, heartbreaking news. She was definitely a young woman of courage. Bless her heart!!

I was just reading through her Live Journal the other day and thinking about how cruel life can be. I cannot even imagine being told at such a young age that you might not live to see the next year and knowing you've spent the better part of your teen years in the hospital and in pain. I will never have an ounce of the courage she had, to face the unknown with a terminal illness.

Sarah and her family are in my thoughts.
