Our friend Sarah

I just heard from a friend of hers that Sarah Schoch passed away this morning.  I'm too sad to really say anything constructive except that I know that she will be missed by all the people who loved her.  She was a sweet, wonderful, brave girl.

We were lucky to have known her, even in the smallest way.

I am so very sorry to hear this news, but Kelly, thank you for passing it along.

Like so many others, I met Sarah only briefly at the first NYC Dolpa, but she'd been an inspiration to me ever since I bumped into a notice on DoA about Volks having posted Japanese/English translations of warm greetings for a girl coming from America . . .

My world is painfully diminished today, but not nearly to the same degree by which it was joyously expanded that evening on Den of Angels.
