So, I didn't get in. I got back the decision on my Australia exchange program application and I didn't make the cut. Sad. So now I have to decide what I'm going to do. I've been saying all along that I'm going to go anyway, but now that I know the decision, I don't know if I should. First of all, maybe I wasn't meant to go to Australia. Perhaps ( Read more... )

However, this could turn out to be halfway decent.... a blessing in disguise as you said. Maybe this opens the door for an opportunity that might not have been there otherwise.

Maybe you (we?) could go as a graduation celebration and just vacation there for a bit. It's really expensive there, I've been having Amanda take notes for me to give to you. Like the fact that you can't get strong drugs like Benadryl, only weaker stuff. And jeans are about $70. And they don't have cream soda! (But they do have sarsparilla.. which is very good.)

We are so doing that!! Well, at least we need to go SOMEWHERE together. Whether it's Australia or not, it doesn't matter. But I like that idea. And we have to take Prissy with us so that she can have a wild time with us before she gets married.

Yes yes, needs Priscy! I heard from this girl in one of my classes that she's going to London for Spring Break and it's about $3000. I'd better start saving money. I wonder if England has different electrical outlets than the US... *wants to bring laptop wherever we decide to go*
