First ER visit. Unbelievably spasms in my stomach around the tube. Came from nowhere. Pain in my arm. Terrified it's a blood clot. Called ambulance. ER---how long can they make you suffer before they bring on the pain meds. Pain level a strong 8. Over pain medicated me. Pass out for an hour. Chest xray. 13 pounds lighter!!!!! I went to see Dr. Hart the pulmonologist today and he said I was a model patient. My blood pressure was great, breathing great and to top it all off I have lost 13 pounds since the surgery. That's more than a pound a day and I'm sooooo excited. The surgery is over and I'm home. Not as comfortable as I wanted to be but I am home. I've got 2 drains to contend with...one tube and one stuffed with gauze (it hurts) but overall I'm okay.
