I just realised I’ve been back in Australia for just over nine weeks. How is that possible? Laos seems so long ago. I’m looking at photos on Facebook of the rocket festival in Laos. I was there for it last year, but it feels like so much time has passed.

When I got to work today one of the subs told me the weather last night was true Albany weather, and what I had been experiencing over the past few weeks was an aberration.

That’s unfortunate, considering that it absolutely poured last night and, despite a few cloudy days, the past few weeks have been beautiful.
