A tanka in response - a Poetry Friday post

Last month, we all wrote sonnets. Well, everyone in the poetry sisters except me wrote curtal sonnets, a form invented (or at least made popular) by Gerard Manley Hopkins. I am in love with the language you've used in this poem... feral, cauliflower, clusters, morsel.
It's so tiny but so, so rich!!

Thanks for the tanka information and the different forms. I am bookmarking this site. Interesting choice of words: eral bird-song clocks.
