I know I already said this in my message but what I really loved about this chapter was when Thatcher, drunk as all hell, was able to see something between Mark and Lexie and call them on it. Even in a drunken stupor, the chemistry and connection between Mark and Lexie is so obvious, it has to be addressed. I loved that. I love that you have taken this AU story and have built a relationship between Mark and Lexie that is so strong, ANYONE can sense it. Thatcher, the drunk, has just really sensed something first. Well, besides Bailey but she immediately thought Mark and Lexie were sleeping together ( ... )

Aww...Katie! Thank you so much for your commments...they always mean so much to me :)

I know I've been MIA again...life has a way of biting me everytime I think I've come across a few minutes of sanity and peace! Anyway, I'm still working to the first kiss as we speak...I'm making them hold out for longer than I ever thought I would. Hopefully it will translate well in my writing and I'm going for "insanely hot!"

I've missed you too! Thank you so much for hanging in there with me...you have no idea how much it means to me! *MASSIVE HUG*

Hi, I'm so glad you're back!!:)

this chapter was great, i can't believe that as drunk as he was, Thatcher was able to tell and see the attraction between Lexie and Mark. they're so obvious.

but I like that they're becoming friends then being together will be twice as great.:)

great job, can't wait to read the rest.:)

Thanks so much for reading, it means a great deal to me!

I'm a fan of friends becoming more than friends, so that's kind of the path I'm taking here with Mark and Lexie!

I absolutely love their interaction with one another...so far their relationship is just friends, but they are great friends. I love how they encourage one another.

So cute when Thatcher was like, What's going on between you two? If he can see it who else can see it.

Thanks for taking the time to update and looking forward to you being able to have more time to update.

Thanks so much for reading! I love the friendship between the two in this story as well...it was really important to me to develop that first :)

And I couldn't resist having Thatcher interject his thoughts on the matter!

I'll be updating soon :)

I'm so so so happy you have updated this! This was such a fantastic update. Mark and Lexie are too cute. And the part with Thatcher was really sad, but I love how protective Mark is of Lexie. Very sweet.

I like how you incorporated the nurses strike against Mark. It's great how supportive Lexie is.

Hope we see more realy soon!

I'm so happy that you are back!!! I'm even happier that you have updated this story. I love the developing relationship between Mark and Lexie, great friendship with a whole lot more, that everyone can see. Including her very drunk father. Mark was wonderful during that whole scene. I can't wait to read more.

Welcome back!

Aww...thanks for being so great through everything!

I really loved writing the interaction between Mark and Lexie about her father...it's such a personal moment for Lexie and I love how Mark reacts here.

It's great to be back :)
