So the littlest Baerp broke his ankle overnight Thursday -> Friday. He also dislocated the ulner that is supposed to sit on one of the ankle bones. They have brought up the idea of surgery but right now he is in a neon green cast. He is so unhappy and hasn't figured out how to move or why he's being restrained. It is one of the most

AWEEEEEEEEEEE!!! At least he got a patch to help with it. When Moose broke his leg, I had to orally give him Metacam...which dialated his pupils and glazed his eyes over. Even after the $3k surgery and cast, with the med's, he'd hold his leg out like a wing and run around like a puppy does. Pain medicine is good, but I wish it was also a sedative so they'd rest and not fuss with pulling the cast off...... I hope kitty gets better quickly!!!

I am really sorry to hear. That doesn't look like a happy facial expression in the first picture. Is he bitterly meowing or hissing?

He's not hissing nor bitterly mewing. Not sure why he always looks angry in pictures but he's more like bemoaning his condition - a sort of : meeeeeOW!. :(
