What an excellent way to spend New Year's day and eve. That wine tasting looks really well done. I don't think anyone around these parts does one as nice, though it's been a few years since I've done a full tasting anywhere, so I could be mistaken.

Have you seen Black Panther? I'm just wondering how it would compare to Aquaman. From your description they sound very similar.

I'm going to a wine tasting tomorrow with Marcela and her husband. It's a walk-around tasting rather than a sit-down tasting, so I won't be able to try the fun trick of going back to a wine half an hour later, but it will be interesting to see if they have any other useful tips.

I have seen Black Panther, and yes, I think they are similar in that treatment of the role of a monarch (as I think most superhero films probably are). But Black Panther *did* have things to say about colonialism and resistance, and did make one think - and one can't claim that for Aquaman.
