That event sounds great--a hike and a time to write and a reading out loud.
I'll bet I could see some great birds in that forest.

It's great to hear your voice after all these years of reading it.
A great reading voice, and of course the Australian accent that sounds
like home to you sounds so wonderfully not-Texas from here.

I really liked the third haiku.
