week 11: acting is hard.

acting is hard. seriously, it is.

when we first chose our roles and plays, i thought this task wouldn't be too hard-all we had to do was speak some lines, right?

WRONG!

this was so much more difficult and complex than i had imagined!

first, there was memorising the lines. this was a bit difficult, especially as some bits and pieces sound very similar ( Read more... )

I really have to agree with you when you say that acting is extremely hard. But i know that once your up on stage and you try your best the nerves will go away and you will feel good about yourself after doing it.
Im sure you will do an extremely good job, a piece of advice, revising your lines will boost your confidence so it doesn't look like your reading it for the first time. Goodluck and i will be looking forward to watching your play.

LOL I've been acting since kindergarten, and I love it. It is hard, but all that stress and effort is worth it when it all comes together into a great performance!! I believe drama and theatre are necessary for life :)

Hey kelsbels27! TELL ME ABOUT IT! I CANNOT act…at all. It is very very very difficult trying to learn the lines for the characters in Tone Clusters. Like you said, everything needs to be present correctly or the play can turn out crap! I just hope my group can pull it off! Anyway, can’t wait to see you perform. Good luck!
