The Adventures of Addison Barros, Celebrity Relic-Hunter [4]
Hey everyone! It seemed like an appropriate time to change up the cover picture, as Addison's going through a new phase in her life - which you'll see in just a second. Not to mention that I thought this was really cute. So I'll actually put the cover photo outside of the cut, and beg you for your forgiveness since it's huge.
At any rate, I hope you enjoy this chapter! It's shorter than the others - and by shorter I mean it's 81 pictures instead of 150 something. :P
Since Addison was home for the two days before she could go on another vacation, I had her go over to see Tom Wordy to try to build up their relationship again (it was slipping). Unfortunately, he continued to be standoffish, even in person, and wasn't ~emotionally available for Addison.
I'm giving up on him.
Anywho, while Addi was at his house she got this opportunity to go to a club and dance there in order to bring n the clientele for them. It was a little dive place down near the other end of the city, but it looked cool so I sent her anyway.
Just keep dancing, just keep dancing, just keep dancing, dancing, dancing...
(Really hard to do when people keep bothering you for autographs and photos. Just saying.)
So while she was at the club, I noticed this guy standing across the room. And boy oh boy, isn't he adorable? Like, wow. Wow, wow, wow.
I drooled all over him for a solid five minutes before sending Addison over to chat him up. Forget about that dance opportunity, she can complete it later!
So they got to talking and Addison found out that his name was Kai Leiko, and I was immediately drawn to him (he's obvs supposed to be Japanese, and sort of looks it, and we all know I'm a sucker for the ~azns). Anyway, she also got his sign which was apparently compatible to hers. Score!
After the night at the club Addison called Kai up for a series of phone calls, and after a good day or so they were friends (see friends bar in the picture above. He's right there, being all cute looking and stuff :D).
Anyway, that night Addi went back out to the club and finished her opportunity.
And guess who was there? None other than Kai! 8D
And he's single! SCORE.
Anyway, after chatting a bit at the club, Addi had a party to go to since she'd been invited earlier in the day. She invited Kai to go with her, and by the time they got there she got a 'thank you for coming,' but they didn't actually have to go in because the party wrapped up seconds later. So I used the opportunity to get Addi and Kai to ~become closer. Enjoy some adorable picspam!

In other news, Addi and Kai are going to ~do the bad thing.
BAHAHA. When I saw this I actually laughed so hard. Despite the fact that no one had actually *seen* them, and Tom Wordy hadn't caught them in the act or anything, I guess because she's a celeb she runs a higher risk at being caught through the media. So yeah, the result of this was that her relationship with Tom went way down and a lot of their mutual friends started hating her. Oh well, I cheated to give her more friends, so she didn't lose anything from her total. ;)
ANOTHER one? Jeez, this club really needs help! In other news, look at her relationship with Kai; it's so much higher than her relationship with Tom was, and consequently I don't feel bad. Not even a little bit.
So Addi rolled up the want to apologize to Tom, and I thought that was reasonable. When she went over they had words in the 2 piece bathroom and didn't get around to her apologizing because the option didn't present itself in the massive list of actions she could choose from.
However, she did break up with him.
And now that Tom was dealt with, I could get her to ~go steady with Kai.

Awwwww <3. These two are honestly like my OTP, aside from Evan & Summer who I still adore even though I haven't played them in like 2 weeks.
Anyway, I haven't figured out how to have public weddings in TS3 yet, nor do I want to, so here's some private wedding spam:

So he's got pretty good traits, except I was disappointed with his lack of humour. Oh well, not everyone is perfect!

Because Kai was such a stud-muffin I went soft and decided that he and Addi were going to have a baby; I absolutely HAD to see what their genetics would produce.
I should've taken it as a sign that it took them like 20 tries to get pregnant.
Anyway, I finally heard the lullaby and let them stop trying to procreate.

So I finally got around to sending Addison down to the club to get her second dancing opportunity out of the way with. And, btw, it was really fun to watch her dance because TS3 dancing is nowhere near as cheesy as TS2's; Addi actually dances like a normal person!
And while this was happening...
At home, Kai was being burned to a crisp after attempting to invent things.

Grim: *doesn't care.*
And that was the short life of Kai Leiko-Barros.
Addi: "NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
Anyway, life carried on and Addi got the opportunity to eat at a restaurant (that paid like half the meal), and then talk it up to three friends. Decent, decent.
Oh, and she started showing. Well, she was probably showing before this but she was wearing her formal wear the whole time and it obviously doesn't have a preg morph.
I sort of figure that she'd started showing when she started walking around like a pregnant woman despite the fact that she was still skinny. xD
New opportunity; nice.
So I sent her right to work on her mixology skill, which was sort of fun.
It got a little scary, though, when she took sips from the drinks she was making. BAD PREGNANT WOMAN!
Anyway, she got the scholarship and completed the opportunity, so that's where I'll leave you guys for now.
And I guess next time I'll be dealing with Addison and her sprog, and trying to figure out how she can still go on trips.
