I'm sure people get sick of seeing my massive title picture, so I'll hide it under the cut as per usual. :)
Anyway, where we last left off, Addison was working her way through a smashing-boulders challenge and then her vacation timed up. FUUUUU--
So, let's continue on from there, shall we? :)

Oh, I don't know if I mentioned this before, but Ian's a talented enough child to have an A+ in school when he rarely goes. Boy wonder, I say!

Speaking of Ian, he and Addi had a ~falling out because they barely talked and stuff since she was always out galavanting on vacation. So I had them renew their friendship all day, and this was just one of the uber cute shots from the time they spent together. I <3 them. :D

So I got to choose Ian's trait, and went for Angler, because he loves to fish so much - and is so good at it. I think it's totally hilarious that, aside from their shared athletic trait, Addi and her son are nothing alike. Ian's also nothing like Kai, if I remember correctly.

Massive Ian spam, because I changed all of his outfits as well as his eyebrows. :P I was quite happy with his hair, though.
Anyway, since Ian's hit his teen years I decided he should get a job (I think he wanted one, though, anyway).
He also wanted to attend athletics class, which he got at half price because he's a ~celebrity.
CHILD STAR!
Anyway, Addi got an opportunity to up a mixology skill point in order to get a scholarship. When she did that, one of the fringe benefits of the scholarship was that it gave her another point in mixology. And since she was at nine before, the scholarship maxed her out! :D

Ian's just chillin' in his backyard, working out to get his athletic skill up, and the paparazzi came after him.

LOL JK, no they're not.
I sent them to China and, for some reason, the world loaded but Addi & Ian didn't - I was left with an empty console with no sims, stuck in China! I aborted the game and had to redo a half hour of playing time. D;
Pretty much everything happened the same as what you saw above, except that Ian wasn't given the chance to go to France, and Addi maxed out her athletic skill point.
Like a boss.

Anyway, from this point I kept trying to go back to China but the same thing I described above happened. I uninstalled the lighting mod to see if that was the cause, but it kept happening. I finally gave up because, to be honest, Addi doesn't actually have to go back there anymore - she got a level 3 visa, which is all she really needed. All she has to do is max her visa in Egypt.
I guess you know where we're going now.

Anyway, since Egypt was a-go and Addi needed to get her visa started, I sent her off on an adventure chain which led her to her first Egyptian tomb, to recover some papers for this lady.

Given that it was her first tomb of that world, it was really super easy and I was done within minutes. Addi also had her papers within minutes, and we were off.
Adventure chaining, nbd.

Anyway, Addi stuck around to find out more about Youssef, using her magical never-get-rejected powers. She found out that he's SINGLE, ARTISTIC, FRIENDLY, and a NATURAL COOK.
Um, okay. With only three traits revealed, Youssef is already my dream guy for Addi.
Flirting commences now!
Addi and Youssef flirted for a while until they became friends, and then he peed on the ground because he really, really had to go. I figured that I should let the poor guy find a toilet, and sent Addi off to talk to the third and final person. She was then able to report in.
While this was happening, Ian was just fishing. Fishing all night and day.
I felt bad, because I wanted him to be able to work on his athletic skill to get his LTW done even faster, but there was nothing really he could do in Egypt to help him out. Oh well, at least he had fun? :)
Back to Addi, she got her level one visa!

NGL, when I saw this sand I started to get a little worried - she walked into that room, and the sand suddenly appeared. I thought she was going to get suck inside!
HOLYFUCK ANOTHER MUMMY!
Egypt tombs are ~srs business. Like, I'd hazard a guess that this is a relatively beginner tomb in this world, but they already have zombies. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK.
Anyway, Addi was sneaky enough to escape past the zombie without a fight, complete the tomb, and harvest the fruit plants that she needed for her opportunity.
Ian has a scooter. This is awesome.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Anyway, back to Addi, she was given a string of opportunities that led her to this underground library. Apparently she had to make friends with the guy who's house was on top, though. I was pissed.
Then, I was happy. "Make friends" actually meant "say hello," so she was sneaking through his house in no time.
I didn't take many pictures of the underground library because I was rushing, but here's what I did get:

At any rate, she completed another tomb and got the book, so I'm happy!

However, when Addi got back to Bridgeport she had some nice mail waiting for her - two plaques for maximizing two of her skills.
Ian should get plaques, too!
Also, I decided to invite Youssef over to stay for a while, so that he and Addi can ~get together. Can't wait until sim!tomorrow at 9 a.m.!
And while all this was happening, Ian maxed his body skill! 8DDDDDDD
