I had to change the name of the challenge, since Storm maxed her LTW so quickly and is moving into a new phase of her life: motherhood!
Where we left off, Storm got together with Sinbad Rotter, and then quickly ditched him for his roommate, Goodwin Goode. Goodwin was dating someone (turns out it was the mother of his illegitimate teen son) but Storm was already smitten (so was I) so she split them up and started dating Goodwin for realsies on her birthday. LTW achieved.
She also joined the music career track, since she finished the firefighting one, got engaged to Goodwin, had a (sucky) bachelorette party and (equally sucky) wedding. Goodwin wanted to become a firefighter, so he took his wife's place at the station. Storm gave birth to baby Evan. Evan is blonde, like Goodwin. Surprise!
Life in the Bates loft is pretty idyllic. Contrary to this picture, though, Storm spent most of her time making friends with her son. Goodwin took a little longer to make friends, mainly because he's ALWAYS working. Anyway, Storm is also using her mat leave to work on her work-related skills.
But, despite the fact that just having one kid is hectic, Goodwin and Storm (read as: I) wanted more. Also, Storm has a fertility treatment lifetime bonus, so I wanted to see if she would get twins or triplets.
Anyway, since Goodwin's in the house now, here are his stats. I hate his LTW, it makes me want to cry - save THIRTY people? Seriously?
Anyway, the plus side is that...well, look at all those awesome traits!
Storm's showing, yay!
Happy birthday, Evan!
Well!
He's, um...interesting looking.
Not gonna lie, I'm slightly disappointed with his face. He looks quite morose at all times.
Anyway, since it was a birthday party I had Goodwin's son, Blake, come over to meet his half-brother and step-mother, and get reacquainted with his estranged father.
He couldn't stay long because it was "late" and he had "school in the morning;" jeez.
After the birthday party I kind of realized that there would be more children coming, and there isn't even a bedroom for the one they have, so it was time to move. I went for this lovely 4 bedroom, 6 bathroom house, which is set on a back road, by itself. However, it's actually closer to the middle of the town than the old house was!
Welcome to the house! Isn't it gorgeous? :D
Anyway, have a house tour:
Living room.
Dining room (I think this is my favourite room).
Kitchen.
Evan's room.
Storm & Goodwin's room.
Exercise room.
Games/skilling room.
Garage.
And this is the "guest house" that's over the garage. It's super cute!
And here's the back yard! =D
Once in the new house, Storm started teaching Evan to talk.
Storm: "Okay, say it with me - I want to hold your hand."
"Under the sea (under the sea); under the sea (under the sea)..."
"Don't bring around a cloud to rain on my parade."
YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!
I get so excited about babies coming. :D
Anyway, I'm quite happy to announce twin girls!
I thought it would be fun to give them completely different traits. I'm seeing Lucy become a skilled martial artist who spends all of her time outdoors and is perhaps a vegetarian or something, and Ellie being an easily excited detective who's maybe a workaholic. We'll see how it goes.
Anyway, welcome to the sim-world, girls!
