Yesterday I watched
Lords of Dogtown. It started out kind of boring/not too exciting/strange-ish filming techniques but by the middle I was really into it. A lot of people gave it bad bad reviews, but I ended up thinking it was a pretty good movie. Sort of lack-o-plot ish and in a weird way, almost documentary-ish, but I really liked it. Plus Emile Hirsch being adorable helps too...
And I also watched
Sleepless in Seattle. I'd never seen that movie before. It was... Good. Not Watch-more-than-once good. But it was cute. Okay, not cute. I thought "Take the Lead" was cute. Sleepless in Seattle was... Sweet? I don't know the word. You should watch it once because A) It's based in seattle, and B) Because the little boy has some great lines.
Boy: If you have a new wife, I guess you'll have sex with her, huh?
Dad: What do you think?
Boy: Will she scratch up your back?
Dad: What?
Boy: In the movies girls are always scratching the guys backs and screaming and stuff.
Dad: And what movie did you see this on?
Boy: Jed has cable
Dad: Oh...
I'm thinking about starting up a review website. Not for any reason really, just because reviewing and rating stuff is fun. That's another thing to put on my "Things I should do but I'll never really have time to do, plus I'll get bored of it anyway" list.
Aah, I'm having a notebook party on the 21st so if anybody wants to hang out at my house, and watch the notebook (or just plain hang out.) Come.. And... Hang out.
