I am loving the Herb Forest.I have to grow mine indoors as we have outdoor kitties (neighborhood roamers) that would just make quick work of anything fragrant and tasty.

Looking great! I planted wormwood last year, and it did alright, but this year it has sprung up into big, beautiful bushiness. :) I've got valerian and yarrow coming back, too. I need to get on the ball and plant something new this year!

!!! none of my valerian sprouted this year! If you think you've got a plant to spare, I'd gladly trade you something of mine. :)

Oh my! I aspire to have a herb garden as gorgeous as yours one day. I have started with a nice big black pot full with my medicinals.

Did you grow from seed?

:D

Everything but the bee balm, tarragon, lady's mantle, lavender, rosemary, and evening primrose was grown from seed. :)

You are an inspiration. :D I have so many things I want to grow so I can make my own tinctures and tissanes. At the moment I have valerian, fever few, lemon balm and I can't remember what else. Hopefully I will have an amazing herb garden like you eventually.

How do you start your seeds? Indoors?

I wish you could have seen my mandrake!!!!

It's dormant and sulking now. :(

And I did have asphodel AND wolfsbane...

but I accidentally fried it.

Better luck next spring, I hope!

how much time do you invest on your gardens on a daily or weekly basis? have you thought of ways to make your living off of it? you seem quite gifted in this arena.
