I'm driving alone as well, but I have a gig on Monday evening at National Harbor. Which means that I'll leave Charlotte Monday morning and drive to National Harbor (near Oxon Hill), where I'll be until 8 pm. Not exactly appealing to anyone who wants to go straight home, but if you don't mind a 2-hour layover...

I'm planning to leave 10 am-ish on Friday.

Hey there, I really appreciate you thinking of a way to make this work, but I think I'll have to pass on the carpooling. My little girl has had a fever on and off today, and I don't know how sick she'll be tomorrow or this weekend, so I need to have my own wheels just in case I need to hurry home on short notice.
